A Health Visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
The Health Visitor/Nursery Nurse holds a drop-in clinic on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 09:00 - 10:30. No appointment is necessary, just inform reception that you are here when you arrive. You can leave a telephone message for the health visitor on 0300 421 8746.
An antenatal clinic with the midwife is held at the surgery every Tuesday from 14:15. Please phone reception for an appointment.
