Travel Adviceglobal air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to book a telephone consultation with the practice nurse to discuss your travel plans. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

Before you call up to book your consultation have a look at the NHS website below for useful information and to know what to expect:

Fit for Travel

It is important to book this consultation as early as possible - at least 4/6 weeks before you travel - as these vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine and you will need to receive them 2 weeks before you travel to allow them to work.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

Please note that we are not a Yellow Fever Centre. To inquire about yellow fever vaccinations call  Severn Bank Surgery.

Travel Health Questionnaire

To help us offer the appropriate advice, please fill out the online form before coming to see the nurse.
